This study examined the baseline conditions of persons with psychosocial disabilities (PWPDs) and their families about mental health services, economic well-being, social participation, and stigma.
Findings: services remained uneven; health worker capacity was limited; and public understanding of PWPD was still flawed. Village- and subdistrict-level governance was not fully supportive of inclusive service provision.
Recommendations: promote mental health awareness and stigma reduction, strengthen multisectoral capacity for inclusive planning and budgeting, improve PWPD data systems, and utilise village funds to support productive activities for PWPD and their families.
